Case Study 3
Turning a conservation film into brand authority
CHALLENGE
The brand's audience was concentrated in the carbon market. The challenge was to reach a broader climate and conservation-activated audience to build wider support for carbon projects.
Solution
We produced a human-centred short documentary and paired it with a multi-channel distribution strategy to reach a broader climate-aware public.
Results
Recognition across an international festival circuit, placement on a leading environmental streaming platform, and 33x year-on-year audience growth on the brand's own YouTube channel.

The Film
A 12-minute documentary centered on people rather than the metrics. Cinematic craft was a strategic choice, not a vanity one: production quality is what earns festival selection, platform placement, and algorithmic reach, and it is what allows a story about a carbon project to be received as a story about people. The film's footage also provided high-quality derivative content for all channels and formats throughout the year and future campaigns.

WaterBear Streaming
Placed on WaterBear, the first-of-its-kind streaming platform dedicated to environmental and humanitarian storytelling. The platform has built a purpose-driven community of more than 700,000 people, with an audience of around 3 million and over 17 million views, alongside partnerships with more than 100 NGOs. Critically, this is exactly the audience the brand could not otherwise reach.

Festival Circuit
Selections and awards across numerous well-regarded international film festivals around the world. Festival recognition does something owned media cannot: it validates the work through independent juries, in front of audiences with no prior relationship to the brand. The independent credibility also opened doors to partnerships with aligned content creators who wanted to share and be associated with high-quality, externally recognized storytelling.

Owned Channel Growth
The launch was engineered so that borrowed attention became an owned audience. Production quality pushed the film into YouTube's suggested-video recommendations, compounding reach organically, while festival announcements drove direct spikes; 225 new followers in a single day. The result was 33x year-on-year view growth, roughly 28,000 views in the launch month, and 1,100 new subscribers, with average watch time holding at 3:46 even as the audience scaled.
Case Study 4
Content strategy for organic growth and conversion
CHALLENGE
As an early direct-to-consumer forest carbon platform, the challenge was to make a complex, unfamiliar climate product relevant to everyday consumers and convert that interest into purchases.
Solution
We built an integrated audience-growth strategy across search, social, paid media, and partnerships, turning forest conservation into content that drove discovery, engagement, and conversion.
Results
Converted new audiences into paying forest carbon customers, while building a 100,000+ social following and 12,000+ newsletter audience, growing the site to 10,000+ monthly visitors, and earning #1 Google rankings for priority content.

Driving discovery through search
